Our Objective
Waveseeding is a half day workshop bringing together key ecosystem actors to co-create the emerging TECA wave.
TECA (Triggering Exponential Climate Action) is a venture launcher seeking out and funding high-potential individuals with a passion for climate action to develop ideas into ventures.
Our Methodology
For our event, we opted for a workshop format in which participants were paired with a panel of mentors, experts in various fields of innovation that cover climate, the blue economy, and entrepreneurship. The goal of these mentoring sessions was to provide guidance and support throughout the process. At the end of the event, each participant had to deliver a 5-minute speech that comprehensively addressed all facets of a business model.
Atlas of Opportunities
The TECA Atlas of Opportunity is a focal point for identifying high priority areas within the defined scope of the TECA Blue Wave.
By its nature, the Atlas provides a convergent way of compiling relevant information in a way which can guide founders to consider areas of greatest opportunity to accelerate the venture formation process. It also serves as a compilation of information on landscape and opportunities in ways which are relevant for the broader community who will actively participate in building out the Atlas.

Our "Mexican Climate Actors Network" is an interactive map developed on Kumu.io, under the effort of the Blue Wave of TECA. Our map is designed to map and visualize the Mexican cooperative climate ecosystem in real-time. This interactive tool catalogs and organizes key actors involved in climate action, distributing them by sectors such as financial, NGO, philanthropic, among others, thereby facilitating the identification of potential collaborators and stakeholders.
Its main goal is to strengthen the Mexican sustainable climate ecosystem by expanding the network, unifying efforts, and fostering cross-sector collaboration among the various actors. By providing a holistic and updated view of the interactions and relationships among participants, the "Mexican Climate Actors Network" not only enhances the understanding of the current climate landscape but also promotes the creation of synergies and the implementation of effective collective strategies to address the country's environmental challenges.
